When people think about hypnosis, many imagine stage shows where someone is made to cluck like a chicken or do something embarrassing. No wonder so many people are unsure if hypnosis is real or even safe.
The truth is: a professional hypnosis session looks very different. And it can be one of the most powerful tools for healing, transformation, and lasting change.
1. Hypnosis is not what you think
Hypnosis is not sleep and it’s not mind control. It’s a natural state of focused relaxation — similar to that dreamy moment right before you fall asleep. In this state, your subconscious mind becomes more open to new perspectives, healing, and change.
2. What to expect in a session
A hypnosis session begins with a conversation. We explore what you’d like to work on — whether it’s anxiety, heartbreak, low self-esteem, or a pattern that feels impossible to break.
Then, I guide you into hypnosis using relaxation techniques and gentle imagery. You remain fully aware and in control the entire time. If I asked you to open your eyes, you could. Most people simply feel calm, safe, and deeply focused.
3. Why hypnosis works
Most attempts to change rely on willpower — but willpower only affects the conscious mind. The problem is that most of our patterns, emotions, and beliefs live in the subconscious.
Hypnosis allows us to gently update those subconscious patterns so you can feel free, empowered, and aligned.
Hypnosis isn’t about losing control — it’s about taking it back.If you’ve been curious about experiencing it for yourself, you can book a private session with me :).
