Ada Komani
Certified Therapist, Coach and Trauma-Informed practitioner
My name is Ada Komani, and I work as a therapist, coach, and trauma-informed practitioner based in Oslo, offering sessions online for international clients in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada and other countries.
I support individuals who want help processing trauma, emotional strain, stress, and life challenges, and who are seeking greater stability, clarity, and resilience in everyday life.
In my work, I combine trauma-focused and evidence-informed methods with an integrative, client-centred approach. I work with people in a wide range of life situations — from acute life crises to long-term emotional overwhelm and deeply rooted patterns — and support structured, sustainable change over time.
My approach is grounded in safety, presence, and respect for each person’s individual process. I aim to create a supportive space where you can explore what feels difficult, while also working practically with emotional regulation, nervous-system stability, and new ways of relating to yourself and your life.
I have strong trust in the human capacity for growth and change when the right support, methods, and structure are in place.
My goal is to help you strengthen your inner sense of safety, gain greater awareness of your emotional and behavioural patterns, and move toward a more balanced and grounded way of living.

Guidance, Coaching and Trauma-Focused Therapy online for UK, USA, Australia
My name is Ada Komani, and I work with guidance, coaching, and therapeutic support for individuals experiencing life crises, emotional strain, stress, trauma, and demanding life situations. I am based in Oslo and offer sessions online for international clients.
Many of the people I work with feel stuck — in relationships, work life, self-confidence, or in reactions such as anxiety, inner restlessness, emotional overwhelm, or exhaustion. In my work, I have a clear focus on helping people strengthen daily functioning, emotional stability, and a sense of direction through structured guidance, coaching, and therapeutic processing.
My approach is safe, individually tailored, and practically oriented toward real-life coping and change. I place strong emphasis on combining emotional processing with concrete tools for regulation, insight, and behavioural change — so that the work not only brings understanding, but also leads to meaningful improvements in how you feel and function in everyday life.
Trauma Therapy with EMDR and Brainspotting
As a certified trauma therapist, I work with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Brainspotting to address both significant and more subtle forms of trauma. This can include experiences such as accidents, abuse, violence, war, or major life events, as well as long-term emotional strain, relational wounds, neglect, or repeated criticism.
These methods support the brain in processing distressing memories in a more adaptive way, reducing their tendency to trigger intense emotional and physical reactions in the present. For individuals living with PTSD, chronic inner tension, emotional overwhelm, or deeply ingrained reaction patterns, EMDR and Brainspotting can be highly effective tools for increasing safety, emotional stability, and resilience.
Professional background and integrative competence
My professional background in holistic health began with yoga, meditation, and body-oriented practices. I hold two 500+ hour Yoga Alliance certifications from Rishikesh and Dharamsala in India, as well as training in yoga therapy and meditation instruction.
This foundation has given me a deep understanding of the connection between the body, breath, nervous system, and emotional regulation. Today, I primarily integrate this knowledge as supportive elements within therapeutic and guidance-based work — rather than as standalone offerings — to assist with regulation, presence, and stress management where appropriate.
My professional approach
I place strong emphasis on creating a safe, structured, and respectful therapeutic space, particularly for individuals in vulnerable or challenging life situations. My work focuses on supporting you in:
-
strengthening everyday coping and emotional regulation
-
understanding and working with your own reaction patterns
-
processing emotional strain and unresolved experiences
-
gaining greater clarity, stability, and direction
-
building a deeper sense of inner safety over time
I have deep respect for each individual’s process and work in a highly personalized manner, with the goal of meaningful and sustainable change.
